Pretzelcat is a cartoon cat made out of a soft salted pretzel: one long strand of golden dough twisted into a knot, with a happy face peeping out of the top loop and flakes of salt scattered all over. That makes Pretzelcat the bendiest cat in the bakery, and very proud of it.

Every morning starts with a good long stretch. Pretzelcat can tie into a knot, untie, and tie up again the other way before the first loaf is out of the oven, and still land neatly on all four paws. Ask for help reaching the top shelf and Pretzelcat will twist up there in a flash. Ask for a straight answer and you may get a twist in the tale instead.

Pretzelcat also has a Christmas look, which you can find on the Christmas gift tags and sticker sheets in the shop.

Favourite spot: hanging off the wooden pretzel rack in the front window, where the morning sun warms the salt and passers-by stop to wave.

Quirks: a little bit salty when the queue is slow (never actually cross), forever untangling the string on the cake boxes, and always first in line to give a hug, a bendy one.
