Mincepiecat is a cartoon cat made out of a mince pie: a golden pastry lid and a crimped pastry case, with a little pastry star and a sprig of holly sitting proudly on top. Warm from the oven and dusted with festive spirit.

Mincepiecat is a cosy homebody who is happiest tucked up somewhere warm with a cup of tea. Not one for big parties, Mincepiecat prefers a small gathering, a good chat and a plate of something sweet passed around the table. Ask Mincepiecat round and you will be offered seconds before you have finished your first.

Favourite spot: the top of the oven door, just after the last batch comes out, where the warm air rises and the whole kitchen smells of spice and orange peel.

Quirks: straightens the star on top before answering the door, keeps a tin of spare pastry stars just in case, and gets slightly flustered if anyone leaves a mince pie unloved on the plate. Mincepiecat believes the best Christmas is a quiet, kind one, with good company and a full teapot.
